Thesis field framework
Every ENTER/HOLD documents why, evidence, invalidation, take-profit, and ops — without intraday charts.
Each scanner cycle that surfaces a candidate is documented with five fields. This is the idea template — not a trade recommendation.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| why | Why this setup qualifies under the rule set |
| evidence | Structural facts: breakout level, SMA stack, ATR width, planned R, gate flags |
| invalidation | Price zone where the setup thesis breaks — mapped to stop logic |
| take_profit | Planned reward zone — mapped to target logic |
| ops | Why daily bars suffice; how gap opens and same-bar stop/target ordering are handled |
Invalidation semantics
- Daily low ≤ stop → exit (thesis broken on bar close logic)
- Gap below stop → accept open slippage; still no realtime tape required
- Regime weakeners (e.g. SMA200 loss) → defer re-entry, not override stop math
Take-profit semantics
- Daily high ≥ target → reward leg completed at planned R
- Alternative exit modes (SMA50 flip, Donch trail) are backtest variants — see exit comparison posts
What we omit on the public site
Per-name entry marks, live position P&L, and broker routing. Those stay in private state/scanner_theses_latest artifacts.
